The first project I decided to take on from a lovely Austin Double Shouler piece I purchased was a laptop case. The goal was to make something simple and beautiful.
I dimensioned the case specifically for my 13" Macbook Pro. The width was intentionally left a bit tight so the laptop would form the leather nicely and keep a snug fit. I used the raw edge of the hide for the opening, incorporating the hide's unique stretch and burn marks into the character of the finished piece.
